Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a windy autumn weekend and the views from the house were stunning. The walks just out the door were superb. All along the coastal path we went to Port William pub, glad we managed to get back with light though, as you wouldn't want to follow the cliffline in the dark :) The home was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Perhaps oven mittens would have topped our experience, but we managed to cook a beautiful fish meal (bought from Port Isac )and trully enjoyed the weekend. We were a group of 6 ladies, went for a surf lesson to Polzeath. All was within good distance and we all agreed that it was worth the drive, staying n the location such as this. Thank you! Sept, 2019
The house and garden were fabulous.
Maybe to fence or hedge the garden to the side but it was no problem for us.
Always loads of hot water, very comfortable beds and the sofa in the tv room gobbled us all up.

We have just returned from a 3 day break at Merlins cottage in Tintagel it was just perfect everything we expected and more the weather was beautiful and the house and garden were amazing with spectacular views . Such spacious clean and well equipped rooms perfect for our family getaway 7 adults & 4 Young infants just perfect . Lovely, lovely cottage! We were surprised at how Merlin's combined old and modern, and it was perfect. The walk to town was very easy on the trail. I wish we had sunnier weather and more time to explore more. We were visiting friends in the UK who joined us, and they will return to Merlin's for future holidays. Jo, March 2018

Fantastic home. The most amazing views we spent our time in the sociable kitchen and in the conservatory with the most amazing outlook. House is well stocked for entertaining for 8 and really dog friendly space. Great for family gatherings and friends. Locals are really friendly. Marion, March 2018
We have just returned from Merlin's cottage having had the most amazing visit.
They have EVERYTHING you can think of that you will need in the house & each bedroom is to a very high standard no one gets a bad room! The view from the house is amazing & if you want to relax & chill out the sun room & garden are perfect.
I highly recommend this house as soon as we walked in we were talking about booking for next year. The house was spotless & we were greeted with a fabulous hamper on arrival not to mention fresh flowers on the table along with a bowl of fruit & free wi-fi.
We also booked Georgina to cook us a fabulous meal for my husbands birthday - again I give high recommendation the meal was delicious & Georgina lovely. We will definitely be back everything was of exceptional high quality & standard. Mrs T W, Devon.

The house is everything you could want for a perfect holiday. The location is fabulous - you can see the ocean from the house and can easily walk the coastal paths to Tintagel and Trebarwith Strand. The house is beautifully presented , spotlessly clean with all the home comforts. Nicky the host was always very prompt in answering any queries we had. We can thoroughly recommend Merlin's cottage.
