We stayed in both sides of Wavecrest in summer 2021. It has a lived in cottage feel and is very comfortable.

The kitchens are well equipped and the table in the bay window sits 12 easily and could take a few more !

The age range was 19 to 92!
There is plenty of room inside for everyone on a wet day and beautiful outside space for fine days

It is a tranquil spot with great views of the National Trust coastline and direct access to the path.
You can be in the sea at Baby Bay in minutes and it’s a short walk round the corner to the hussle bustle of Polzeath beach.

In short it’s a great place! June, 2021

Wavecrest is a superbly located property with gardens overlooking a quiet cove and the main surfing beach just around the corner. The perfect balance of being close to all the action with easy parking and a short stroll to amenities. The house is full of homely, Cornish charm and is spacious and well equipped. We all loved what it had to offer. The owners and agent (Ros) were friendly and accessible without being intrusive. We were welcomed on arrival with fresh flowers and delicious homemade apple juice from the owner's orchards, as they had stayed at the property just before we arrived. In summary a great holiday home in an excellent position. The whole area is surrounded by beautiful and engaging opportunities. You can take coastal walks either locally or further afield. Day trips to Padstow, Port Isaac & Port Gaverne, Fowey, The Eden Project, Newquay, Tintagel, Boscastle, St Ives all offer different experiences and rewards. There is a wide variety of activities to engage in such as surfing, golf, crazy golf, paddle boarding, sailing, cycling along the Camel trail etc...lots to do!  Tim. June, 2021

We absolutely adore the house, if a little old fashioned!! What makes it for us is the location and the completely stunning views. When the beach is busy you can stay in the garden and just “pop” down for a swim/surf!! It works brilliantly as a family house and we feel super lucky to have been lucky enough to go there. Marie Claire. July, 2020

The house is just perfect for us, fairly old fashioned, but just as a beach house should be in my eyes! Perfect location being virtually on the beach, so wonderful walks, nearby shops in Polzeath and really no need to use the car at all!! Our idea of bliss. We just love it. July, 2019

Fantastic views especially from the bay window, great location since it feels secluded by a separate cove, but is 5 mins walk from the surf on the main Polzeath beach. A place with family character, with a well equipped kitchen. Only minor reservations: some issues with Vodaphone mobile coverage, but the owners were very helpful and they were resolved. Slightly cramped for 6 teens/adults, but in practice this was not a problem since we were outside most of the time. In a resounding endorsement, my brother has already booked a return holiday! April, 2018

We had a great time and were very lucky with the weather and surf - thanks very much to you and to the owners. Jacob. April, 2018

A very relaxing week and the dogs loved chasing the rabbits!”

This was an ideal family let with dogs being allowed. All the necessary arrangements were made to accommodate us comfortably.
The cottage was ideally situated for our family, and was nice and clean. Past travellers said... 30 Jun 2014
