The house suited my large family ideally and we particularly enjoyed the kitchen/living area and the constant lovely hot water. The views were absolute heaven as we were expecting and we can’t wait to return next year.Philippa. Aug, 2023

Beautiful location with wonderful views at the front of the house. Well equipped kitchen which linked well with large front room. Great place to socialise, chill and eat. House a bit shabby in places but was excellent value and fit for purpose for a group doing out door stuff and coming in wet.

"Four families in one house without hindrance to each other as far as bathrooms etc. Very relaxing and the highlight is the fact that it is a two minute walk away from the most fantastic surf! Makes a family holiday with an age range of a year old to 58 years old so relaxing as you don't have to pack everything up for a day on the beach....simply nip back to feed the babies or the oldies!! Kitchen very well equipped. No need to go out, we ate in every night! Thank you to all involved!"

"We love the location of the property and ease of access to the beach so stayed local. Enjoy the independent shops at Polzeath and coastal walks.Such a fabulous location, house was set up perfectly on our arrival. Maybe some heating could be on to take chill off house in October but no big deal. Shame to have to be out at 9am but understand with current situation. A lovely stay, thank you."

We apologise for a couple of broken glasses. We all took it in turns cooking of an evening for everyone. The kitchen was fabulous and a fantastic communal area. The only downside was only have the three rings on stove to cook for a large group but we are aware that efforts were made to rectify this. I have also been asked to make you aware that the tin opener is on its last legs!! We enjoyed the amazing views and how close to the beach we were. Also the communal feeling to the kitchen and lounge. All our party loved the house and incredible location. As a result everyone had a fantastic week and we have been asked to find out about re-booking for next new year. Sarah. Jan, 2020
Particularly enjoyed the proximity to the beach and cliffs. The house was a wonderfully large venue for our extended family to enjoy a holiday together with a fabulous communal area, but also space to ‘escape’. It would have been nice if the house had been warmed up prior to our arrival. The storage heaters took a couple of days to get the house warm, but once it was, it was great. It was rather inconvenient that the fridge was broken but I appreciate the owners sorting out a new one. Also the fact that the hob was not fully functional was frustrating. Overall we had a wonderful holiday despite the glitches. Jo. Dec, 2019.

We had a lovely time thanks, weather was appalling but that didn’t matter!!! The big kitchen / diner / living room worked perfectly for our group and enabled us to host some big meal times for everyone! The house was spacious and characterful and the master bedrooms were also lovely. We understand the owner is continuing to make improvements as we thought a few of the other bedrooms were a little tatty and in need of freshening up – that is not a complaint, just an observation as we loved the house and had a great time.
We still did walks and a treasure hunt despite the weather and it was nice seeing the waves pounding in off an angry sea.
Thanks for all your help through the booking process, we had a really lovely time and it was a perfect spot to host my dad’s 80th as Polzeath has been a regular haunt for our whole family for over 40 years. Kind Regards Steve
