Thank you for letting us stay in Polzeath for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday. We had a fantastic time in Polzeath, with some lovely restaurants and pubs nearby (Surfside being our favourite). Great place, great location and perfect for an extended family holiday. We traveled as two families with 5 kids in total and there was plenty of space for everyone. The Kitchen/Diner was perfect for breakfasts and dinner and good cooking facilities. Helen. Oct, 2023

The house was perfect for a long winter weekend. The location is really good for quick access to local beaches, pubs, and the villages of Rock and Polzeath. The house was warm on arrival, well furnished, great kitchen dining room. Beds were all comfortable and the morning sunshine pours in through the front rooms. Would love to come back. Robin. This was an ideal stay for a big family celebration : luxurious and very comfortable.. Good bedrooms, the master with great views. Good bathrooms and enough of them for our party of 8. The living areas are spacious and great for lounging about after a day on the beach (or a day eating !) , the kitchen well equipped. Very well located, v near Oystercatcher pub & short (but v v steep) walk to beach and town. Hi Ros thanks very much for the stay - it was perfect for our big family celebration. In fact, my only suggestion is you rather under sell yourself in the photos/prospectus - it is much more luxurious with much bigger kitchen dining area and living room that I expected. Lucy. Very spacious house with full amenities. We all had a great time. The beds and duvets was lovely but the neighbour liked cutting his hedge every day with a strimmer before 8am, but I am sure he will finish it soon! The walk back from the beach is a very steep hill. The parking was great fitting 4 cars easily but the electric gate was a little temperamental. Dog friendly secure house. Would stay again if it wasn’t for the hill and elder members of the family coming with us. Jo-anne. June, 2021
Overall the house was excellent. Perfect and convenient location with good parking. In good condition and very well equipped for a family's needs. Ros was a pleasure to deal with and the process was clear and transparent and much useful information was provided ahead of arrival. The whole house is very well laid out, and the kitchen breakfast room was just what is needed for a large team of people. All the bedrooms were tidy and clean and comfortable as were the showers etc.
Great outside area perfect for outside eating even though it didn't fit 12 people around the table.
Overall we loved the house and provided a great location where you can walk to Polzeath easily and you have great walks close by and Dammer bay is 5 minutes away which is beautiful. We played golf at the point which was great for my sons and friends, and also had a number of water skiing sessions from the Camel Ski school in Rock which was brilliant.The fish and chip shop in Rock is well worth a visit as is Fees Food in Rock which does excellent ready meals and the pastries are very good.
