We had a lovely stay, and Ros was an adorable host. The area has gorgeous views, and the studio is comfy and stylish. For me, some things on The Perch were the cherry on the cake: the barbecue place, the chairs facing the sea where I read my book every morning, the little table outside where we had breakfast a couple of times (would have done it every day if the weather had allowed). This was our second stay at The Perch and although the weather wasn’t quite as kind this time we still had a lovely break. The Perch is compact but all you need is there. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s a 2 min stroll to the beach. You can easily walk to New Polzeath which has a few shops and eateries and you can travel a bit further to larger towns. The Annex has been a fabulous place to stay. It is delightfully cosy with breathtaking views that are wonderful at all hours of the day. It was fully equipped and everything straight forward to use. Having the easy access to Polzeath and the Coastal path was fabulous and it was also exhilaratingly easy to nip down for a quick dip as the tide came in. The place is awesome. My husband, pup and I enjoyed the view, quick access to the (almost private) beach and cosiness of the house! Particularly loved bbq and sunsets at the house and would make sure we came back for sunsets as the views were easily the best in the area. This is a lovely cosy modern annex in a stunning location just above Baby Beach. About 5 - 10 minutes walk along the coastal path to the main Polzeath beach. Very clean & nice decor. This was honestly one of our most amazing stays. The location is superb, beautiful and perfect with a view overlooking a quieter part of Polzeath and a view of sunset that will make every end of the day glorious. We walked to the surf every morning (about 4 minutes away, walked to the pub every night (10 minutes) and tan the coastal trail to Rock / Port Quinn in either direction. The host is fantastic, making you feel welcome and wanted in a lovely way. Waking up to the breathtaking view was a highlight and we cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you! Great place and location for a long weekend. so close to the beach with the Taco Boys van selling great tacos all day. The apartment is small, so if you want lots of space, this isn't for you but all the amenities are of a high standard. Overall an excellent place. An absolute gem which we feel so grateful to have found. The annex was perfect for us, even with a 6 month old - it felt really spacious, and the sea views from the room are beautiful. If you want a room with a fabulous view and very friendly hosts, this is the place for you. Perfect for two, in an amazing location right on the beach, surrounded by beautiful countryside. “Fabulous location for cliff or beach walking. Our stay was very straightforward. Sue next door gave a warm welcome, and Ros coordinated our stay so we were well-covered had we needed anything. The annex is nice and warm. When the tide is not far enough out to walk across the beach, It was possible to use the coastal path to quickly reach polzeath with a pushchair, if you don’t mind about ten steps at the end, which I found manageable. It was nice not having to drive. It’s quite remote with cafes/restaurants closed being off-season, but I enjoyed that, as I was mainly there to cliff walk with my little girl in her carrier. A fantastic place to stay. The apartment is superb and finished to a very high standard. It has everything you want for a comfortable stay. The view is stunning and you are literally right on the beach. The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s just a short ten minute walk to Polzeath itself which has some great places to eat etc. When the tide is out you can walk along the beach which is lovely . This is ideally located for surfing, beach activities and walking with a great view of Polzeath's Baby Beach. This is the annex of the main house so is really studio type accommodation with a large bathroom. The owner lives next door and is a great host and gentleman. We stayed with our 11 year old which was a bit tight, but the location and layout are so good we didn't really care! Many thanks. Christopher, April 2017

It's located in a stunning position and has fantastic views of the beach area in New Polzeath, where you can sit outside and watch the sun set. The annex is well equipped with a very nice bathroom. The Annex at Rockside is a perfect place to stay! We love Polzeath and this area and will definately be back to stay in this lovely annex. It really is a beautiful location - the patio doors open onto a lovely terrace which over looks the sea and a very private little bay - all just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Polzeath. The Annex is finished to a high standard - very comfy bed, lovely bathroom, nice chairs on the terrace and a little pot of ground coffee and cafetiere which is a lovely touch. Once we booked we had contact from Guy the owner who we also met on Saturday morning before we checked out which was great - he was a very good host, really good communication - and we hope to see him again soon! A great space to totally relax with the most beautiful view over Baby Bay and Pentire Point. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Although it's a studio, you don't feel like you are in a small space. The ceiling is high and the room is very bright. You can lie in bed and watch the waves. The first thing is the location; fantastic. The beach is at the bottom of the garden and it's a ten minute walk over the cliff/coast to Polzeath itself. There are also multiple walks and trails and places to explore. The accommodation itself is lovely. It's a bit cramped for three people, but would be ideal for two. The kitchenette is adequate, the bathroom is gorgeous, and the living/bedroom should seem small, but is actually spacious and light. And the host is accommodating, friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again in the future. It's a perfect getaway for a couple, or for someone looking to walk the coast or spend all day surfing on the nearby beaches.We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return, as well as recommending to friends.
