A great location in New Polzeath and an ideally designed house for a beach holiday - nice deck and upstairs living space and bedrooms below was excellent as stayed cool in the super heatwave ! Also the wifi is industrial strength and a very useful little office for those that need to do a little office work while on hols! Martin. July, 2022
Sandspur is my happy place! We all love it and have just booked for the third year. Within moments of walking in you feel on holiday. It’s so bright and well designed; everything has a place and they’ve thought of everything to make your stay feel luxurious and perfect. ( eg the shower for after the beach and a place to hang wetsuits!) If there was a Nespresso machine that would be amazing but then you’d never get me out! Thanks so much. See you next year! We loved walking from Polzeath to Rock. Then having a coffee there and walking back. It’s about 2 hours but the views are incredible. Also walk the other way towards Port Quin. Surfing on Polzeath Beach, sundowners overlooking amazing sunsets. Golf at The Point and St Enodoc. Paddle boarding at Camel Ski School. A wander in Port Isaac and a coffee piece of cake/ crab sandwich at Fresh from the Sea. Heaven! Ollie. July, 2022

Really spotlessly clean, very light and bigger than the pictures show. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Everything was thought through (including somewhere to hang a dirty wet suit) and we enjoyed it immensely. Jennifer. Feb, 2022
We absolutely LOVED our stay - the house is beautiful- it has everything you need to enjoy your time on the beach. It is stunningly appointed, very comfortable beds, super powerful showers, light and airy, a walk to the sea and a brilliant wet room downstairs for cleaning wet suits and showering. Sandspur is a wonderful holiday destination. Light, modern, bright, roomy and well decorated. Getting to the beach is 3 mins walk and it’s perfectly designed for it. The shower downstairs means sand pollution is kept to a minimum and beach stuff is stored away there too. Lovely comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and storage. We didn’t need to get in the car all week, apart from a trip to Wadebridge. Highly recommended. We’re hoping to return. Thanks Ros. We loved it! Ollie. July 2021

The only note would be that the metal drying rack in the wet room is falling apart and may need replacing because it's a vital bit of kit in there! Sandspur is a beautifully light, bright and spacious house. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you will need when dining at home. Location is perfect for a short walk to Polzeath beach. We visited in October so did not get the chance to make full use of the garden and decking areas which I am sure is gorgeous in the sunshine. The house is perfectly positioned in New Polzeath. Far enough away to be secluded, but close enough to enjoy all the action that this wonderful beach has to offer. The house is a great size, well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore this amazing area of Cornwall. We had a wonderful week. The hob needs replacing as it took ages to cook stuff. Also some of the sliding doors especially the one from the main bedroom need mending as they are very stiff. Other than that everything was very smooth and we will be back next year when I can confirm dates. Your service has been excellent with information and instructions during this difficult time.
