Really well appointed, comfortable and clean apartment in fabulous location. Right next to Polzeath Beach, with all its bars, cafes and shops within minutes of the front door. The apartment is cozy but has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We brought a digital speaker with us and could log into Netflix for access to films etc. Very comfortable double bed. Robin is perfectly situated within Polzeath, with such a short distance to the beach, and also local shops when needed. The standard of Robin is very high and when the Sun is shining sitting outside on the deck, just cannot be beaten. Steve. Oct, 2023

I think it would be incredibly hard to beat the location, particulalry at the price point. You literally walk across the road onto the beach. The house is clean, cosy, comfortable and has everything you need. It has been very well thought through. The welcome guides have had a lot of care and thought put into them, lots of useful information. The check in process was seamless and there is parking right by the property. I can imagine in the summer it would be absolutely the best of both worlds as there is a large decking area and garden with the option of the beach across the road. If you surf, there is a really handy room at the end of the garden with drying racks and heaters etc (really useful). The local Spar - is really well stocked. The coffee and pastry shop next door is great / friendly people, same goes for Ann’s Cottage surf shop across the road. The wave hunter guys set up on the beach are great if you want surf lessons and if you fancy treating yourself; book Nathan Outlaws restaurant well in advance (and the taxi too!). The communication with the property and any help needed was first class. There is nothing to fault. Thank you. Ros, thank you for all the swift communication and help. The place is great, one thing I did wonder about, though may have missed, is an outside light for the decking bit. I only flag it as I’m sure we will book again. Erik. Nov, 2021
The location of Robin is pretty much central to Polzeath with a short walk to the shops and also, the beach. Although compact in design the property provides all that you need on your stay and to a very high standard - the rear opening doors are a great touch to the deck that is a real sun trap. The internal layout gives the feeling of space which is very clever considering the footprint of Robin.
The extra storage location in the converted building end of the garden is a great asset as is the option of accessing the property from the rear - especially handy if wet from the sea or having been out with your dog (drastically reduces getting sand etc inside).
The overall specs/standard of Robin is as I said of a very high nature and I look forward to returning soon. Steve. Oct, 2021
This tiny retreat is a perfect oasis in the heart of Polzeath and it is only seconds away from the beach! We really enjoyed staying in Robin .... it is a lovely beach hide-away! We had such a lovely time at Robin, thank you! The house was really clean and suited our needs. We loved being so close to the beach and the garden was a great bonus! It was the perfect suntrap! The little laundry room at the bottom of the garden was also great! We went to Trevone Bay a couple of days which was a lovely little beach with clear, calm waters and went kayaking. We also took a day trip down to Mevagissy and the Carlyon Bay area which were both lovely. Davina. Aug, 2021

We had a lovely stay in Robins - it's just perfect in terms of location and has been decorated with a wonderfully light, airy, coastal feel that you always feel you're near the beach/on holiday. We had the most perfect weather all week too - so lucky! Please do let the owners know that after staying in Polzeath twice a year since 2008 and visiting many times before, thanks to their welcome letter, we did something new last week! Following their advice, we took the bus to Port Isaac and walked back to Polzeath - absolutely stunning! We've walked Port Quin to Polzeath before but the stretch from Port Isaac to Port Quin is beautiful although not for the faint hearted given the undulations (albeit with steps). We walked on one of the clearest days ever so could see north as far as Bude and south as far as Towan Head, Newquay at different points. Really looking forward to returning in July. Wonderful fresh, light and airy accommodation - well-equipped for self catering too. All instructions very clear and help always on hand via Wendy. We took the advice from the owners in the welcome folder and took the Number 10 bus from Polzeath Beach to Port Isaac and walked back to Polzeath along the SW Coastal Path. We have walked from Port Quin to Polzeath before but the stretch of coast between Port Quin and Polzeath is stunning and as it was a clear day we could see as far north as Bude from Port Isaac and as far south as Newquay from Pentire Point - stunning! just a word of warning - it is quite a steep up and down hill path from Port Isaac but the steps help alot. The location of this property can't be beaten. It is lovely and fresh and very clean and makes for a very convenient and functional place to stay. It's very well equipped too. We did have a couple of issues while we were there to do with water temperature and some maintenance problems but Ros and Wendy were quick to respond and very apologetic. You certainly can't beat this place for location – right in the middle of the village, as close to the beach as you can get! It's a lovely comfortable place, perfect for hanging out having lazy days when the weather's bad, or coming back to after a day out at the beach. Comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and nicely decorated. What a lovely place! We had a fantastic family holiday at Robin. The entrance to the beach is just across the road, body boarding, sandcastles and all local amenities are on the other side of the front door A really comfortable house. The location is what makes the property a wow. It is probably the closest to the beach in the village so was perfect for me and my mum as we took two little ones (both under 2) so could pop back and forth. Property itself is nicely done up but inside albeit quite basic with its added extras (etc no coffee machine/ toilet roll/ full length mirror/ or much storage - especially if there was more than 3 adults). The garden is also amazing and the perfect space to compliment the cottage. The village is Polzeath is the perfect Cornwall getaway venue with its restaurants and beaches and we will definitely be back!” Charlotte. July, 2019
