We had a lovely stay would recommend it was perfect for one adult and two 12 year old boys and our dog, such a wonderful position near to Trebarwith Strand the most fantastic beach, and great for exploring the North Coast. Extremely comfy bed and lovely big airy bedroom. We just had a couple of days getaway so had minimal chance to appreciate it fully, but Kosel was in great location for Tintagel, Port Isaac and other locations and well equipped for a few days stay - it was perfect for our needs. Very peaceful. David. July, 2022

We had such a lovely stay. The host was friendly and provided us with useful local information and even left us milk and biscuits on arrival! A pretty little cottage which was beautifully presented and well equipped.The cottage was delightful. We had some problems with the cooker which although not resolved during our stay, was quickly addressed and every effort made to rectify. Great location… you need a car as the local shops are a good distance- nice walk to the beach. Front door is low as my head found out so we used the back door all the time. Place is small great for 2 people. Great base. Sarah. June, 2021
A cosy barn convention with everything you need to create a little base to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. We had a 10 month old baby and realistically we would need a 2 bedroom place ideally next time. I’m not sure it’s quite big enough for 2 adults and a child or baby. Lovely stay, cosy barn accommodation suited us perfectly. Kosel is well-located for trips to nearby spots like Tintagel, Trebawith, Padstow, Port Isaac and even St Ives. Bring your supplies with you because there’s no shops nearby and the nearest pub is a short drive away too. Would have liked a bath and even a wood burner or open fire to enjoy on the rainy / bad weather days but the place was warm. Hosts were great and even let us have a late checkout - much appreciated!! Our stay at Kosel was absolutely lovely and had a very cosy cottage feel. We loved the bedroom and my husband stood on bed and looked out of skylight and saw the sea. We were only there three nights and wished it was longer. We visited Tintagel and walked to Trebarwith Strand and The Port William pub. Our stay at Kosel was nice and a welcome break form the frenetic day to day routines of life. And as the name suggests, it is a very calming environment. The barn is as described with a cozy feel even in the large spaces. Parking was limited and if you have anything larger than a small family hatchback, it overhangs both the lay-by and the outside parking space, but the lane is seldom used and only by residents who are probably used to the overhanging cars by now. We experienced a lovely break and the surrounding areas are stunningly beautiful. We would love to return in the Summer to experience the beaches and coves. Neil. Oct, 2020

Lovely little place to stay for a few days, not far from Tintagel or Trebarwith Strand. There isn’t much within walking distance, like shops or local amenities, so a car is essential. Would recommend the walk to Boscastle along the South West Coast Path. Owen. Aug, 2020
Kosel was a very comfortable stay for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed the space during our 5 days there. It has everything you need for an enjoyable time. The cleaning procedures seem to be very covid safe. The extra requirements to put all the bed linens and towels into a laundry bag before checking out are necessary in that regard. Stepahnie. “We stayed at Kosel for 2019/20 new year. It was a great little cottage in a good location for walking the South West Coast Path and exploring the local towns and attractions. Nice and quiet property, clean and good communication with the agents - all we needed for our short stay. Our only suggestion would be to put a larger bed in the property (we think it was a double) to give it more of a special/holiday feel (especially as there is plenty of room in the large bedroom!).” Katherine. Lovely cottage, beautifully furnished. Port William is a must. Only downside is the parking, you'll be fine as long as your good at parking in tight spaces and don't have a huge car! There is a lay-by opposite but it wasn't free during our stay.” Katie. June, 2019
We had a lovely week at Kosel. Trewarmett is away from the crowds and very peaceful with nearby country walks to local pubs and sea. The house was perfect for the two of us and our Labrador - very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We loved our stay at Kosel - it was perfect for us and our dog!
