Homer Park, Port Isaac - Cornwall

Homer Park Farm is a capacious and comfortable family holiday home, with superb sea views. This Large comfortable house sleeps 17 (+ if needed 1 additional child on a sofa bed in Bedroom 1)  with 2 living rooms, log burner, 2 games rooms, study, kitchen diner, utility, 7 bedrooms, 3 of which are ensuite, additional wet room, wc and bathrooms with external heated swimming pool and terraced patio area with rattan chair & sofa sets for relaxing and outdoor bench tables for al fresco eating, and additional outdoor chairs at the front of the property.

Located outside Port Isaac (walkable to the village) with wonderful views of the sea and Port Isaac, ample parking and grass lawn. Enjoy the beach & surfing at Polzeath, sailing & water skiing in Rock, walk the S W Footpath, go fishing, catch the passenger ferry to Padstow, visit Wadebridge or Newquay or make a day trip to the South Cornish Coast or the Eden Project.  Please note that the Swimming Pool is outdoors, and therefore only operational from end May - Sept. The pool is heated by an air source heat pump, & so the temperature of the pool is affected by the outside air temperature.

On a clear day you can see Lundy Island and the Hartland Pennisula and on occasions, the Southern coast of Wales. It is 10 minutes walk from the bustling fishing village of Port Isaac;  6 miles from surfing at Polzeath and beach combing/swimming/windsurfing at Daymer Bay; 7 miles from boating  and a hop on the ferry to Padstow from Rock.  It is within reach of the Eden Project, Watergate Bay, Newquay and Cornwall’s south coast. 

There are many wonderful restaurants, cafes, bistros and pubs within walking and driving distance from the house. Our favourites are Nathan Outlaws establishments in Port Isaac and The Pilchards in Port Gaverne. 

Homer Park has a garden with freedom to roam across the land and the web of footpaths, joining the coastal path heading either to Port Quinn, and the Rumps or to Port Isaac and on to Port Gaverne. There is a heated swimming pool, sheltered and enclosed by high fencing (operational only from late May- Sept).  The patio area has a charcoal bbq, comfortable outdoor modular sofa, and table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a hose and hanging space for rinsing wetsuits at the end of a days surfing. 

Ground Floor - There are two large reception rooms, one with a sitting room area which includes an extra large modular sofa with deep feather cushions, a second sofa and an enormous internet enabled tv and dvd player.  There is a large dining table which seats 14, and the possibility of 18 with an add-on table. The second reception/games room has two large sofas, a wood burner, TV with DVD player (massive dvd library), bar area and table football.  There is also a games room with a billard/snooker table and off this there is an office with a large desk.  Superfast broadband is available and the mobile phone signals is strong for all networks.

The kitchen is well equipped with a large two oven Britannia range cooker with gas hobs, a nespresso coffee machine, microwave, large fridge and separate large freezer.  There a large kitchen table which seats 8 or more if necessary.  Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and hanging space for drying wetsuits overnight.  

There is a large bedroom on the ground floor with a superking bed, a sofa bed (suitable only for a young child), and wonderful views of the coast.  There is a wetroom on this floor with a power shower, and a bathroom with toilet and double sinks.  

First Floor - There are four bedrooms on the first floor.  Two with superking beds and ensuite shower rooms with toilets.  One of these has access to a shared balcony with bedroom four.  Bedroom three on this floor has a kingsize bed, and the best coastal views in the house. Bedroom four has a bunk bed, with a double on the bottom, an ensuite bathroom with shower and access to the balcony. 

Second Floor (attic rooms) - There are two bedrooms, each with three single beds and a bathroom with bath (shower over it). Great sleeping area for lots of children/teenagers.

Well behaved dogs (maximum 2) are welcomed at the discretion of the owner, please state breed and age, and please note there is an additional fee of £50 per dog for extra cleaning. 

There is a Security Deposit payable of £1000, fully refundable provided no damage. 

Linen and towels for 17 guests in beds are included, if you require the sofa bed (only suitable for a child) in the ground floor bedroom, please note that there is an additional fee of £30 per stay.
