A wonderful and well-appointed country house that is an ideal home for anyone wanting to appreciate the unique beauty of this remote corner of the best county in England. This really feels like a home away from home and is perfect for a group of adults or a family looking to enjoy group meals and social time, or just find some peace and quiet. The location is ideal, with spectacular walks and countryside right on the doorstep, yet within easy driving of St. Breward which has a special community spirit as well as the shops in Bodmin and the beaches and fishing villages on both the north and south coast. The owners are responsive and very helpful. We own our own holiday rental homes around the world, so appreciate how much thought and effort goes into delivering a 5 Star experience. We stayed 12 days in the stunning house surrounded by a wonderful garden. It’s so lovely in fact, that you won’t want to leave the property at all, while you are there! The house was clean and well laid out. Every room is lovingly and aestetically equipped. It is so idyllic, looking out of the windows in the houses‘ garden! The environment is just lovely and silent. The location is perfectly located to relax and to take one step back from every day life. The communication with our host, Wendy, was promptly, very friendly and helpful at any time. Fabulous location and very spacious house. Very comfortable beds in all rooms. Quick to get to from the A30 with a lovely drive through the moorland. Lovely garden for adults and children to enjoy. Wonderful. My family and friends enjoyed a weekend break at Wendy's gorgeous Farmhouse. Everything you could possibly want for a relaxing (with kids!) weekend was available at the house. Which made it easy to sit back with a wine and a book whilst our 4 children and 2 dogs explored the vast, enclosed garden. We were also greeted by a friendly local called Skye the dog! Who frequents the gardens daily, the Cornish way! I would absolute recommend a stay here, lovely secluded location, great communication from Wendy right from the intal booking to end of the stay. This place is fantastic! It's the perfect place for family/friends to get together. Clean and warm and great for eating and drinking and socialising, or a cosy night in, in front of the log burner. The location is great for getting to the north or south coast and tips and recommendations from the owner are brilliant. ***** five stars! Nathan 25th - 29th November

A beautifully clean and spacious house recently renovated with modern appointments, in huge gardens, and set in a tranquil location. A few other highlights in no particular order - really comfortable beds, copious hot water for baths and showers, excellent TV with broadband fast enough for streaming services, lots of parking space. We would thoroughly recommend this, and would definitely like to visit again. Robert 8th - 15th November

This is a great location and a wonderful house. Communication was great. I recommend anyone wanting to get away with friends or loved ones. You can sit in the garden or by the fire. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Loved it. And got some september sun too!!! Jack 25th - 29th September

A truly outstanding experience from great communication from Wendy to the amazing house. Wendy is a perfect AirBnb hostess - she communicated thoroughly and with great friendliness in the weeks up to our stay and was also very responsive to questions and requests before we arrived. We felt very welcome in this truly warm family accommodation. The house and gardens are amazing, and everyone from 7 years old to 65 years old thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. And although it looks and feels like it’s isolated, it is only a couple of miles from the A30 and therefore the rest of the world is very accessible. Bodmin has all you need in terms of grocery stores and take-away restaurants, while the best walking and pub food/beer in the area are within striking distance by car. My only warning - be very patient on the tight, country lanes where you won’t even get close to your predicted GPS arrival times and where regular manoeuvring around oncoming traffic takes care and patience. Wendy's farm house was lovely. The house was extremely clean, modern and homely with plenty of space for 10 people. The house was well equipped with everything you would need such as wifi, towels, crockery, cutlery, washing and ironing facilities etc. The kitchen dining area is great for socialising and there is plenty of grounds to explore. We enjoyed the use of many games in the cupboard especially Jenga. I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it. I hope to be back soon, thank you Wendy! Hannah .April, 2018

The most beautiful home! We have spent the past week in Wendy’s home. Such a social house, plenty of space for everybody (especially the kitchen! We found ourselves all gathered in there most nights after playing card games by candlelight outside). When we arrived there was a bottle of wine waiting for us. Fab communication from Wendy, little black book with all the information you need is on the side when you arrive, just an all round great host. Will definitely be returning! Thanks Wendy. Harriet. Wendy's place far exceeded our expectations. the house is stunning, in an incredible location (not far from the A30 but you feel a million miles away from civilisation). We rented Lower Bradford Farm House for New Year 2017 and had a wonderful stay. We were woken on the first morning by the neighing of the Moor ponies as they wandered down to the river. The house is immaculate, full of character and charm and very stylish by design. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of room throughout, yet keeping the quaint Cornish farmhouse feel with traditional flagstone floors, stone fireplaces and an aga. The house boasts a huge garden, great for exploring and entertaining. It is a short drive from the A30, which makes links to London and the North very convenient. You can enjoy the peacefulness of the moors, or take a short drive through the quiet lanes to the North coast with Port Isaac, Polzeath and Rock on your doorstep, or travel 30 minutes to the South coast to discover Fowey and Par Sands. I would highly recommend this property and cannot wait to stay again. Jo. January 2018

Perfect location with easy access to Polzeath and Dartmoor. The house is also walkable to a nearby stream which was very peaceful. Stayed here for 3 nights to get away from the urban rat race. Did the trick fantastically well. Good central location for rural Cornwall as well as beaches on both the north and south coast. Fully recommended to get your sanity back. March 2018

What a refreshing delight. A beautiful house, tastefully decorated set in stunning grounds. A truly tranquil spot but so easy to get to and a great base to explore Cornwall from. Beaches such as Polzeath only 20 mins away, Bodmin and the moors on your doorstep. The house was lovely and warm, everything was as advertised. The party of 5 I went with all had a great time and we will definitely go back. March, 2018

A beautiful 19th Century farmhouse equipped for the 21st Century. The house is on Bodmin Moor yet is within easy reach of the coast and an excellent pub. I spent 3 days here with friends to recharge batteries which we all did. We shall return! March, 2018

This is a beautiful home set in an lovely location on Bodmin moor very close to the A30 junction (5mins) within easy driving to the beaches (via the A30) and local tourist areas yet set in a small hamlet near a river with amazing views and the opportunity to walk across the moor. Local pub and shop circa two miles walk or three miles by road. Loads of car parking space, huge garden, very private, which is south facing, patio, BBQ and dog friendly. We slept ten adults no problem, endless hot water (on demand) for showers and bath, modern kitchen, very well equipped, and lovely touches throughout, very clean with super comfort beds. Such a wonderful stay, the house and garden are just perfect! An ideal setting. The house itself sleeps 10 so comfortably, we never felt crowded and we had 2 fab nights sleep. Wendy, thank you and your family for allowing us to stay at your beautiful rural cottage. Our friends and I were taken back by all the small and thoughtful touches you had very kindly left for us.
