This was a 3 generation holiday of 6 adults 3 young children and a dog. Very comfortable and well equipped house with good quality beds, towels etc. Everything we needed was supplied and more. Retallack is a good central spot for this part of Cornwall and this Lodge is well situated within the resort for easy access to all amenities. I would highly recommend. Simon. Sept,2021
We had a fantastic week in Cornwall with our children and grandson. The lodge was perfect for us, comfortable, very well equipped and with ample living /playing spaces. We loved the large beds and the spacious balcony. The lodge is also very well situated within the Ratallak village, as the pool, little shop, play area and reception were in close proximity. First time staycation and loved it! The house is lovely, very spacious with everything we needed. Great location, lots to do onsite and a short drive to Padstow. Only complaint is trying to arrange a taxi, but that has nothing to do with the property, but if you need a taxi, make an advance booking. Kat. Sept, 2021

Ros was a superb host. She was very quick to reply and very understanding. The accommodation was just as expected, super clean and in a great location and perfect for families. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was for a few, small reasons: 1) The place felt a little damp on arrival, particularly the rooms downstairs (this could be due to it not being used prior to our arrival). 2) Although equipt with everything you need for your stay, the place could do with a little modernising, particularly the bathrooms. 3) The cleaning fee seemed quite high in relation to everything else which I understand could be due to Covid regulations. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had a fantastic week for the May half term. The weather was a bit up and down but the house was really well equipped with plenty to keep us all happy. The children really enjoyed the toys and games and took over the upstairs lounge leaving the grown ups to relax downstairs. The facilities at the resort were also brilliant - a fantastic place to stay. Michelle and Ros were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back! Melissa. May, 2019

A wonderful lodge on a fantastic holiday site with incredible facilities. Everything you need to enjoy a visit to one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. We travelled with growing kids and there was plenty to keep them happy whilst the best beaches of Cornwall were in easy reach. The Lodge was perfectly positioned and well maintained with all the amenities the you could wish for. We had an AMAZING visit thank you very much. In fact we were so busy it was amazing.
We tried out most of the activities in the park itself and also made the most of the local area with visits to Holywell, Harlyn, Padstom, Bedruthan Steps and a boat trip from Padstow too.
Thank you also for the lovely touch of a bottle of bubbly on arrival too. It was very welcome!
A good piece of advice in that the Pub in St Merryn does not take advance bookings so we were able to eat in the Rick Stein empire as all of his restaurants were otherwise fully booked.
We went on a the boat trip with Sea Safaries out of Padstow and they were great too. Fun and fast boats but also very knowledgable on the wildlife.
We liked the beach at Harlyn as it was a little less exposed than the west Atlantic facing beaches but still plenty of swell to have fun body boarding with younger kids! James.June, 2018

Thanks for making your lodge available for us. As a family we had a great time and managed to get my mum out of hospital to join us for 3 of the days! It gave her a huge lift! We loved the layout of the lodge and it was clean, had everything we wanted and was a great base to visit our favourite beaches.
