Enjoy a stay in a former Devon Apple Store overlooking the Tamar Estuary nr Bere Ferrers, Plymouth. Lovingly refurbished and equipped for four star luxury, this charming cottage is decorated in bold colours, contrasting with the solid oak windows and staircase.

The furnished balcony is accessed through French doors from the homely living room with fireplace adjoining the open plan diner/kitchen. Outside, the terraced gardens and lawn lead down to the pond and tidal marshes and the cottage has off-street parking on the driveway.

You will probably be reluctant to leave this haven of tranquillity, but when you do the area is brimming with attractions. Walks lead to a variety of local pubs including The Old Plough at Bere Ferrers and the upscale Horn of Plenty restaurant. Morwellham Quay offers a recreated world of yesteryear while the market town of Tavistock has plenty of local shops and cafés.
